The Lagos State Government has warned commercial drivers and traders against loading and selling at the Carter and Apongbon bridges and any other bridges.
Lagos State issued this warning on Wednesday after the workers of the Lagos Central Business Districts dismissed commercial drivers and traders who created a threat at Carter Bridge.
The government of Lagos has also expressed its happiness over the occurrence of the incident with a holiday notice issued to all people living in bridges in the state.

Olumegbon said the Agency will not tolerate the behavior of commercial drivers using the Carter and Apongbon bridges in their attacks.

The Special Adviser has advised vehicle owners and traders to refrain from driving and trading on all bridges saying that their vehicles will be impounded.
At this time, the Ministry also made efforts to open shops and hardware stores built on footpaths and drains in the Island Industrial Area.
