Trump Demands Biden to Apologize for Declaring Easter Sunday ‘Trans Day of Visibility’

Trump demands Biden to apologize for declaring Easter Sunday 'Trans Day of Visibility'

Former President Trump demanded that President Joe Biden immediately apologize to millions of Catholics and Christians for naming Easter Sunday as Trans Visibility Day.

The Biden administration’s “years-long assault on the Christian faith,” according to the Trump campaign, is what led to the action.

Following the outcry from well-known politicians and conservative pundits over the “Transgender Day of Visibility” on the most solemn Christian festival, Trump demanded that President Biden issue an apology.

“The Biden White House has betrayed the central tenet of Easter — which is the resurrection of Jesus Christ,” said House Speaker Mike Johnson in a post on X. It is absurd and disgusting to forbid both sacred truth and custom while also designating Easter Sunday as “Transgender Day.” The people of America are paying attention.

Biden incited outrage last week when he proclaimed March 31 to be the “Transgender Day of Visibility,” which coincides with Easter Sunday this year.

Biden’s official declaration of Easter Sunday as “Trans Day of Visibility” was deemed “appalling and insulting” by Karoline Leavitt, Trump’s national press secretary.

Biden’s declaration, according to Leavitt, is an illustration of his administration’s “years-long assault on the Christian faith.”

She declared, “We demand an apology from the White House and Joe Biden’s collapsing campaign to the millions of Christians and Catholics in America who think tomorrow is for one celebration only — the resurrection of Jesus Christ.”

Leavitt further charged that as part of the White House’s Easter customs, which also include the yearly Easter Egg Roll, the Biden administration had prohibited religious egg designs from its Easter Art Event.
