Tax Reform Is Here To Stay, Will Eliminate Traces Of Colonial Rule — Tinubu

According to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the contentious tax reform bills are intended to eradicate colonial rule’s economic impact on Nigeria.

This occurs in the midst of Nigeria’s current bill issue.

Tinubu said this on Monday during a media conference in Lagos State’s Ikoyi neighborhood.

“Tax reform is here to stay,” the president declared. Given the state of the economy today, we cannot keep doing what we were doing yesterday. Eliminating the impact of colonial rule on Nigeria’s economy is the main goal of the tax reform legislation.
