  • Among European Cup/Europa League semi-finals, Manchester United has the biggest tally to date with 13 goals over two legs
  • This is Ole’s first Final. In all previous cup semi-finals, Manchester United have been eliminated by their opponents twice, once in the FA Cup and once in the Europa League under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
  • It has only happened twice in Uefa Cup/Europa League history that a team has scored more than eight goals across both legs of a semi-final tie, the other time being Alaves against Kaiserslautern in 2000-01.
