IGP Order: Buhari Has Declared War Against S/East, We’ll
Defend Ourselves – Nnamdi Kanu
Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB,
has reacted to a recent order by the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali
Baba.
According to him,
President Muhammadu Buhari-led government has declared war on the people of the
South-East with the new order.
Nnamdi Kanu said the recently launched Operation Restore
Peace by the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba was another plot to
massacre civilians in the South-East.
Nnamdi Kanu disclosed
this in a statement signed by the Spokesman of IPOB, Emma Powerful on Thursday.
While the pro-Biafra
group leader alerted the members of the group and civilians in the region to be
careful, he also asked that any genocidal war be blamed on Nigeria’s service
chiefs.
